Ford Framing provides one-on-one service for your picture framing needs. A few of the things that come through the studio:

Gig posters and art prints, matted and framed so they hold their own on the wall.
Original art

Paintings, drawings, watercolors and etchings, including artists framing their own work.
Photos

From a simple photo to a wide panoramic print.
Vintage & antique pieces

Vintage art and advertisements, and antique paintings spruced up and reframed.
Memorabilia & shadow boxes

Varsity letters, pins, lanyards, magazine covers and other keepsakes. Protect it and show it off.
Matting & design

A wide selection of frames and mats: layered mats, multi-opening layouts and round openings, chosen around your piece’s colors and composition.

Call, email or request a time below. The studio keeps hours Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, by appointment only.
Consult in the studio

Bring your piece to the home studio in Walnut Creek. Doug takes the time to walk you through the frame and mat options, with an eye on your colors and composition.
Handcrafted framing

Ford Framing is a one-person business, so the person who helps you choose is the person who frames your piece.
Pickup

Collect your finished piece, ready to hang.

I purchased this Bob Dylan art work in London several years ago. Local frame shops quoted me very expensive options for matting and frame work. Ford Framing completed the project faster and more affordably than any of them. Doug’s workmanship is superb. He has great attention to detail. I highly recommend using Ford Framing.
